Wine Myth #3: Reds for winter; whites for summer

Happy #winewednesday!

Wine Myth Number Three: Reds for winter; whites for summer

Wine Myth #3 is brought to you by SUMMER! With warm weather so close on the horizon, we’re hearing more and more requests for bottles of Chardonnay and Pinot Blanc, chilled down to the perfect level of crispness. This is a beautiful thing – and it’s great for Chardonnay’s morale – but we wanted to take this opportunity to divulge an insider tip: Pinot Noir, when chilled down just slightly from standard cellar temperature, makes for a delicious summer wine.

In-bottle example: the 2012 Carneros Pinot Noir (with shipping included on 3+ bottles).

Stay tuned for more #winemyths to come!

Cheers,
Ram’s Gate Winery
